“O Lord Nrsimha, Who are omnipresent, may Your nails protect me and others at all times. Just as a lion attacks formidable elephant groups and splits apart their heads with its nails and the vajrayudha (Indra’s defense weapon) destroys the highest mountains, in a similar way the asuras who are like strong exhilarating elephants, are easily killed by Your nails, which are powerful and precious.”
